Liaoning Sieyuan successfully supplies the 110kV substation project in Mongolia

Liaoning Sieyuan Electric Co., Ltd. recently completed the delivery of a full suite of core power equipment for a 110kV substation project in Mongolia. The shipment included critical components such as main transformers, circuit breakers, and disconnectors. Having successfully passed factory acceptance tests and been shipped overseas, the project's fulfillment demonstrates the company's outstanding capabilities in supplying complete sets of equipment for international markets.

Mongolia’s vast territory is characterized by long, bitterly cold winters, significant diurnal temperature fluctuations, and frequent wind and sand, placing rigorous demands on the weather resistance of power transmission and transformation equipment. As the heart of the substation, the transformers were custom-designed to suit local conditions—specifically the extreme cold and windy, dusty environment. Targeted optimizations were made to insulation configurations, low-temperature operational capabilities, and anti-corrosion/dust-proof structures, ensuring full compatibility with Mongolia's extreme natural environment and local grid standards, thereby guaranteeing long-term, stable operation.

Throughout the production process, the company exercised strict control over every stage, including raw material procurement, component machining, and final assembly and commissioning. The transformers underwent a comprehensive suite of type tests—covering insulation, temperature rise, and short-circuit performance—and passed multiple rounds of rigorous factory acceptance tests. All performance indicators met both design specifications and international standards. The accompanying high-voltage switchgear—including circuit breakers and disconnectors—also underwent quality inspections in accordance with international project requirements, ensuring the entire equipment package offered stable and reliable performance.

Despite multiple challenges—such as tight project schedules, complex standards, and the logistical complexities of cross-border transport—Liaoning Sieyuan’s project team effectively coordinated technical alignment, production scheduling, inspection and acceptance, and cross-border shipping. They drove the project forward efficiently, ensuring the delivery of all equipment on schedule.

The successful supply of equipment for the Mongolia project marks a significant milestone in Liaoning Sieyuan’ s expansion into the Central Asian market, showcasing the company's integrated supply capabilities—ranging from transformers to complete high-voltage switchgear sets—and its superior product quality.
